Turboalgor Project aimed to research and develop (starting from a patent filed by Turboalgor), an innovative device that, when inserted into a transcritic CO2 refrigeration system, will significantly enhance its energy efficiency.
The project's success is confirmed by achieving the following results in a repeatable and reliable manner, as demonstrated by reports available:
Reduction of electrical energy consumption by up to 9% for refrigeration systems;
Refrigeration capacity increased by up to 20% with the same compressor;
Pay back period within maximum two years
Turboalgor is the company at the head of COLD ENERGY, a project financed by the European Community with the aim of reducing consumption and emissions and improving the efficiency of cooling systems.
Turboalgor contributes to increasing the competitiveness of European companies in the refrigeration industry.
Using cutting-edge technology, Turboalgor is able to cut carbon emissions, in line with EU directives.
With its three application solutions, Turboalgor can intervene on both new and existing systems.
