The Turboalgor kit has been validated by Fraunhofer ISE, one of Germany's leading applied research organisations.

New Fraunhofer report for Turboalgor

The kit is designed to improve the efficiency of refrigeration systems, can be used for new systems or as an addition to existing systems, and can be implemented for a wide variety of applications in terms of operating temperatures and cooling capacities. The currently available kits cover cooling capacities between 20 and 300 electrical kW and refrigeration circuits based on HFC refrigerants, including R448, 449, 452. The results of performance measurements carried out by Fraunhofer attested that the effect of the Turboalgor kit on bench performance for a condensation temperature of 40°C and an evaporation temperature of -40°C is an increase of about 45% in EER. For evaporation temperatures of -35°C and -30°C the increase is about 33% and 23% respectively.

The measurement process adopted by Fraunhofer ISE is followed by a neutral team of experts.
